How we handle your data at LinkGlow.

Last updated: February 20, 2026

Information We Collect

When you sign in to LinkGlow with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this information to create and manage your LinkGlow account.

We automatically collect usage data as you interact with the service, including the pages you visit, the features you use, and the timestamps of your activity. This helps us understand how people use LinkGlow so we can improve it.

We use cookies to maintain your authentication session. These cookies are essential for keeping you signed in and are not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate LinkGlow, including generating OG images, managing your account, and displaying your credit balance.

We use your email address to manage credits and billing, send transaction confirmations, and communicate important updates about your account or the service.

We analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve LinkGlow's features, performance, and user experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Payment Processing

All payments on LinkGlow are processed by Stripe. When you purchase credits, your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and is never transmitted to or stored on LinkGlow's servers.

LinkGlow does not have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. We only receive confirmation of successful transactions from Stripe, including the amount paid and the credit pack purchased.

For questions about how Stripe handles your payment data, please refer to Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Third-Party Services

LinkGlow relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate:

  • Google OAuth — provides authentication, allowing you to sign in securely without creating a separate password. Google receives only the authentication request and does not have access to your LinkGlow activity.
  • Google Gemini AI — generates OG images from your prompts and reference images. Your text prompts, URLs, and uploaded images are sent to Google's AI services for processing.
  • Stripe — processes all credit purchases and payments. Stripe operates as an independent data controller for the payment information you provide during checkout.
  • Cloudflare — provides hosting, content delivery, image storage, and database services. Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure and is subject to Cloudflare's security practices.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. This includes your profile information, credit balance, and generation history.

If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics purposes.

Transaction records may be retained longer as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data. All data transmitted between your browser and LinkGlow is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which provides encryption at rest, DDoS protection, and enterprise-grade security controls.

LinkGlow uses JWT-based sessions for authentication. We do not store passwords — sign-in is handled entirely through Google's OAuth system.

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can view and update your profile information directly in your account settings.

To request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account and all associated personal data, please reach out through our contact page. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. Contact us and we will accommodate your request in accordance with applicable law.

Children's Privacy

LinkGlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please reach out through our contact page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a prominent notice on the site before the changes take effect.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of LinkGlow after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
